Here at Hanski we have been creating wonderful, tailor-made corporate group ski holidays for many years and are often asked the question by our clients, “What is the best corporate ski holiday resort to go to?” This is an almost impossible question to give a definitive answer to as it depends entirely what aspects of your holiday are most important to your group, something we will discuss with you in detail as part of our initial conversation about your unique set of circumstances prior to creating your own tailor-made proposals.

However, it is possible to state with confidence the most popular resorts for our many corporate ski groups as chosen by the number of times they are booked.

Meribel

The Best Bits: Vast amount of skiing for all abilities, snow sure, great nightlife, amazing restaurants, cute village, 2 hours from Geneva, great range of hotels.

One thing we would change: Price, one of The Alps most expensive resorts!

 

La Clusaz

  The Best Bits: stunningly beautiful resort, uncrowded slopes to suit all abilities, 1 hour from Geneva shortest transfer, easily accessible by train. Competitively priced accommodation. Great restaurants.

One thing we would change: Lift the resort up another 500m in altitude. La Clusaz is at 1200m above sea level, fine in January and February, but a little low for comfort in Spring time.

   

Sauze d’Oulx

The Best Bits: party town, lots of apres ski fun, great value prices, short transfer from Turin 1 hour, snow sure, part of a huge ski area, lots of tree runs.

One thing we would change: the area for beginners. The 4-man chair lift required to access the very small beginner area is enough to make some people run for the very welcoming and numerous bars!

 

Courmayeur

The Best Bits: stunning scenery, Mont Blanc, beautiful, old, pedestrian resort centre, great little ski area which offers something for everyone, day trips to nearby resorts, close to Geneva airport, Vallee Blanche epic off piste trip to Chamonix without the infamous ridge walk.

One thing we would change: add another 100km of slopes. Courmayeur’s ski area is small and perfectly formed, BUT it would be great to add more slopes to satisfy the mileage hungry piste basher.

 

Val Thorens

The Best Bits: highest resort in Europe so one of the world’s most snow sure resorts. Huge ski area, slopes for everyone, great apres ski including Folie Douce, fast/modern lift system.

One thing we would change: move the resort 2 hours closer to Geneva airport. That 3.5 hour airport transfer does sap some of the enthusiasm when you are on a short break ski holiday and transfer costs are subsequently not cheap!
