La Clusaz is a beautiful, welcoming, traditional French mountain village.

La Clusaz is a beautiful, welcoming, traditional French mountain village with slopes to suit all ability levels from complete beginners to advanced off-piste powder hounds and everyone in between.

La Clusaz is just one hour transfer from Geneva airport, with accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets.

Not merely convenient La Clusaz is largely undiscovered by the UK market which gives you a sense of that very rare feeling of finding and then exploring something a little bit hidden.

We are certain you will love the wonderful shops, bars and restaurants in this thriving, authentic, French mountain community.

There are restaurants to suit a broad ranges of international cuisine favourites and a good selection of fine dining options. The apres ski is relaxed and fairly laid back though at the weekends there is certainly a real buzz in the bars at the foot of the slopes and in the resort centre.

The resort is where many residents of the nearby city of Geneva and the further afield Paris have second homes, so as you would expect the resort is chic, cosmopolitan and caters for a very discerning clientele.

Skiing and snowboarding in La Clusaz

Under-rated! Though you are unlikely to find La Clusaz in many “experts” top 5 lists for steepness, deep powder or thrills and spills this in fact a real advantage, as it means the big crowds stay away leaving the slopes quiet and peaceful at most times outside of the peak weeks.

There are 5 interconnected mountains by piste and lifts and as you move from one to another in an anti-clockwise direction the level of difficulty rises:

  • The first mountain offers wonderfully long, tree lined easy slopes, perfect for beginners or nervous intermediates to build up their skills and confidence.
  • Mountains two, three and four are ideal of confident intermediates and those looking to progress.
  • La Balme areas of Mountain five offers high Alpine, steep and deep challenges for advanced skiers and boarders.

The perfect mix, why not go and find out for yourself?
